Top quality Security Doors

The Australian Standard AS5039-2008 Security Screen Doors & Security Window Grilles covers a range of requirements for Security doors.

There are 6 tests a security door assembly must conform to:

  •  The Knife Sheer Test
  • The Impact Test
  • The Anti-Jemmy Test
  • The Probe Test
  • The Sheer Test
  • The Pull Test
knife shear
screen probe
anti jemmy
dynamic impact
screen pull

These tests are undertaken on a mesh door complete with a triple lock, although we do not require our customers to have a triple-lock, we do recommend them if the client is concerned about security.

It is more accurate to call a security door without a triple-lock a ‘Barrier’ or ‘Screen Door’.

Regardless of your requirements we can tailor a solution to meet your needs and budget.

For a high security door that meets or exceed the Australian Standard we recommend one of the following with a triple lock:

  • 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel
  • Perforated Aluminium
  • Heavy Duty Privacy Mesh
